Stephen Keam - new Coach for Marion

Marion Football club would like to announce Mr Stephen Keam as the 2011 season coach, Stephen brings with him 19 years of coaching experience both as a playing and non playing coach.  Stephen has been involved with teams in the S.A.N.F.L, the SFL and S.A.F.A.  We believe that Stephen will be able to assist us with the future of our club.  All players will be invited to a meeting with Stephen and will be advised via their mobiles,please contact the secretary of the club ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 22 August 2009: Marion finished the season on a high with a 55 point win against the Lions at Lonsdale. 
The best for the Rams were Ryan Wade, Brad Smith, Alex Dorman, Brett Miegel, David Flaherty, and Tom McGowan.  Brad Smith kicked 10 goals, Tarque Williamson 4, David Flaherty 2, with singles to Russell Stanborough, Warrick Stanborough, Alex Dorman, and Brett Miegel. 

The Reserves defeated Lonsdale by 18 points 10-9 (60) to 7-9 (51).
